Squats

Hello Emma!!

Let's see... what's new today? Emma decided that she doesn't like to sleep during the day, so I have to put her in the bjorn and when she cries I have to do squats to settle her down! .. Usually 5-10 and she stops crying.. or just walking up and down the stairs... for some reason she likes it and it really settles her down.  So yay! We created a baby exercise coach! I wonder how she feels about push-ups?

Today was my first day back at the office after Emma came home... what a pain! So far, and I worried about her. But at least I got pictures like the one above ↑

Let's see... in other news, I wiped my phone and completely reverted it to stock, then installed some of the stuff I backed up for this occasion. Now the phone is going nice and smooth and no more FC (force crash). I got something great ... and got Rage of Bahamut use my referral code if you play : djm32221 -- or friend me as Riechao. It's a pretty nifty game, it's kinda fun though and doesn't waste much time, and kinda simulates card-collecting, which is always fun!

Another nifty thing... 2-step authorization for google accounts with a mobile app. I feel so high tech, I pull out my phone and there's a 6 digit code that expires in 10 seconds! Anyway, it's a really good great feature of google accounts! You can even have them call you with a code. So, it gives you a password and a second system to verify you truly are who you say you are when you log in.  Everyone should turn it on.

Back to Emma... had a migraine today only got about 3 hours of sleep last night Emma can be very active sometimes, but mainly last night I didn't fall asleep until late and got up early. She's a skinny baby, but she's so cute!

I am Batman!

Emma is doing great and healthy, but she was a big crybaby today! We couldn't get her to sleep at all!

I watched batman... it was so good! A lot of classic comic storylines all merged together.. it was great :)

Men's Accessories

This accessory is something everyman needs, look at how stylishly  I wear my little baby accessory:

Today we had our second poop fiasco, unlike the shotgun fiasco, this one was well contained, except, it was like this open - see  poop -clean - change - pee - clean - change- poop- clean change bath! Bless the stars it wasn't in the bath nor was it a shotgun attack upon our living room!
Today I fixed some comfort food, kind of like down home cooking. I made some fried okra (using grits for breading -- didn't have cornmeal) and barbeque lamb ribs with my own lazy homemade bbq sauce (minced onions, garlic, bellpepper, tomato ketchup, red-wine, cumin, chili, sushi vinegar) Quite tasty, but the presentation was mmm not so great after changing diapers :)

 see? :( not so pretty. But after all Rieko's been through at the hospital and how she's been feeling, I thought a nice rich home-cooked meal with a really great taste and kind of rare foods would really be helpful since she's been eating the same old same old for the past few weeks.

And who doesn't like fried okra?

Cloth Diapers.

You wouldn't believe it by looking at us, but we're hardcore hippies! .. well.. kinda.. We both have five finger shoes, we hang our laundry on a line to dry and if it's less than 30 out or over 20, we open the windows.

And we're using cloth diapers on our baby!
They're actually really really easy to use, I think changing the cloth diaper is much easier than a disposable and we just put it in a bucket of soapwater rather than filling up a bunch of plastic bags. We'll see how this goes.

I just went to city hall and registered Emma 愛麻 as a member of our family! Now Japan has 3 Pikes!!

Emma Grace came home today, I still can't decide how to call her, Emma or Grace, they're both so cute. Like most babies, she mainly sleeps, eats and poops. Tonight, she decided to do the pooping when her diaper was off!... results follow:

Homecoming

Today Emma is coming home!! I'm so excited! I didn't blog yesterday because I was so lonely for Rieko and Emma it would have been a really lonely sad post. "I miss them *sniff* when are they coming home *sob*" and really who wants to read that drivel? just two more hours and we can pick them up!! until then I'll stare at pictures:
